Our name is similar to the names of older, unrelated organizations. For clarity:
- Feeding America® (EIN 36-3673599), the Chicago-headquartered national network of food banks, is a separate, unaffiliated organization. We are not part of that network, and it has no connection to this website.
- Feeding Florida (EIN 59-2079763), the Florida state association of food banks, is also a separate, unaffiliated organization.
We do not link to those organizations, and nothing on this site is endorsed by or sponsored by them. Their names appear here once, in this legal disclosure, solely so donors can tell the entities apart — see also our trademark notice.
How to be sure your gift goes where you intend
- Charities are identified by EIN, not by name. Ours is 93-3176598.
- Verify any EIN at IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search before giving.
- On checks, write the full payee name Feeding America Florida and add “EIN 93-3176598” to the memo line. Details: Donate by mail.
